(57)【要約】 (修正有) 【課題】 視点からの距離を加味して、現実感のある三 次元画像を生成する。 【解決手段】 画素ごとに奥行き値を付加した画像列を 読み込み、最初に画像列を画像メモリに格納し、奥行き 値を奥行きバッファの対応する箇所へ保存する。次に、 奥行き値を付加した多角形の奥行き値と奥行きバッファ に保存された奥行き値とを比較し、可視となる画像につ いて、画像メモリに保存することにより画像生成する。
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To plot also an image such as video, etc., in consideration of the distance from a viewpoint by comparing the depth value of a polygon and the depth value preserved in a depth buffer, preserving an image judged as a visible image in an image memory and generating an image. SOLUTION: A depth preservation part 12 is initialized by a numerical value showing infinity (S21) and the depth value of a polygon and the depth value preserved in a depth preservation part 12 are compared (S22). When the depth value of the polygon is smaller than the depth value by the comparison, it is judged that the picture elements of the polygon should be plotted and the luminance data of the polygon is preserved in an image preservation part 11. The depth value of the image according to a depth interpolation system is generated (S24) and the depth value and the depth value of the depth preservation part 12 are compared (S25). Based on the comparison result, the luminance data of the image is preserved in the image preservation part 11. Therefore, also the image such as video, etc., can be plotted in consideration of the distance from a viewpoint.
