画像検出条件設定方法

Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the method for setting image detecting conditions, which quantitatively judges the right or wrong application of an image-position detecting method by a profile contrast method. SOLUTION: This method detects the position of an image by profile contrast using a scanning window 2 having a plurality of pairs 2c constituted of image- concentration measuring points 2a and 2b, which are distributed in facing patterns at the inside and the outside of a reference profile line 1a of an image 1 to be recognized. In this case, a region 3 in the vicinity of the object to be recognized of the image and a region 4 other than the vicinity of the object to be recognized are set. The maximum value of the number of the pairs 2C, wherein the measured concentration difference in the measuring-point pairs 2c in the region 3 in the vicinity of the object to be recognized is specified value or more, is obtained. The maximum value of the number of the pairs 2c, wherein the measured-concentration difference in the measuring-point pairs 2c at the region 4 other than the vicinity of the object to be recognized is the specified value or more, is obtained. The suitability of the image-position detecting method by the profile contrast is judged based on the difference or the magnitude of the ratio between the above described both maximum values.
